An update: willit prototype!

Over the past few months, my lawtech start-up, Legal Lorikeet, has been working alongside SuperTech WM and Million Labs to develop a platform for legal service users.

🔎 The platform, willit, is a web app that allows individuals to:

(1) identify the nature of their legal issue;

(2) receive simple steps to begin resolving their issue; and

(3) source legal professionals in their locality.

Currently, we deal with wills and probate and we focus on spotlighting legal services in the West Midlands.

✔ Since the MVP for willit is now completed, we’re looking to get some feedback on it! 🌠 The vision behind this project is to widen access to legal services and empower individuals in the procurement of legal services. Through research conducted by the Legal Services Board, individuals who can better discern the nature of their issue as well as the help they can avail have improved perceptions of access to justice and are more likely to seek professional legal help.
